This 340 V8 small block dished out 451 horses and 413 lb-ft of torque on 91 octane pump gas on the engine dyno.Ĭomplete TTI 3" exhaust system and full length TTI headers with Dynomax mufflers provide that true Muscle Car rumble. 571/.576 lift 286/290 duration solid lifter camshaft, aluminum 1.6 ratio roller rockers, Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake, Holley carburetor, MSD Blaster 2 coil and Electronic ignition controlled by a vintage MSD 6T box and MSD Soft Touch rev limiter. 10.5:1 Keith Black hypereutectic pistons, Eagle Forged H-Beam connecting rods, ARP main studs, Milodon 7-quart oil pan, Hughes Engines fully ported heads and port matched to intake, Stainless valves (2.06" Intake), Hughes Engines. It was assembled with a grocery list of top shelf speed parts. The engine was professionally blueprinted and balanced by the experts at HP Engines less than 6K miles ago. Fast forward 20 years and the 340 needed more to match the look of this car. The original 340 block was replaced by the previous owner in the later 80's with a correct 340 from a 1970 'Cuda. This car has had 2 owners in the last 35 years and the same owner for the last 21 years.
